mefreesocial.com uses very few cookies and a handful of browser storage values. This page lists each one, what it is for and whether you can refuse it.

Strictly necessary

Cloudflare security check. The request form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to tell people apart from scripts. Turnstile may set a cookie or use browser storage on the challenges.cloudflare.com domain while it runs. Without it the form cannot be submitted, so this cannot be switched off. It carries no advertising or cross-site tracking.

Cloudflare edge cookies. The site is served through Cloudflare, which may set short-lived cookies for bot management and load balancing. These are functional and are not used to identify you across sites.

Functional storage

The site writes three kinds of values into your browser’s local storage. None of them are sent to us.

• mfs:consent remembers whether you allowed or declined analytics.
• mfs:locale-bar remembers that you dismissed the language suggestion bar.
• mfs:<service> remembers when a given service becomes available to you again, so the page can show a countdown. The real waiting period is enforced on the server, so clearing this value does not shorten it.

You can delete all of these through your browser’s site data settings at any time.

Analytics, with consent

If you allow analytics, Google Analytics is loaded and sets its usual cookies (_ga and _ga_<id>) to distinguish visits. IP anonymisation is enabled. If you decline, no analytics script is loaded and no analytics cookie is set. If the site has no analytics identifier configured, the notice does not appear and nothing is loaded regardless.

To change your choice, clear the site’s local storage in your browser; the notice will appear again on the next visit.

Advertising cookies

None. The site carries no advertising and sets no advertising cookies.
